Catering Policies and Guidelines

 Christian’s Catering provides full service catering to the Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan Area.

Specializing in weddings, corporate events, graduations, private parties or any  gathering from 15 to 1500.  Christian’s Catering will ensure every detail of your event is planned and coordinated to perfection. Payments and Deposits:
A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date of your event  & will be applied to your balance.
Fourteen days prior to the event one half of the total cost is due.
Ten days prior to your event an exact guest count must be received
Final payment is due upon receipt of your final invoice the day of the event.  Last minute changes may result in additional charges which will added to your final invoice.

Cancellations:

If an event is cancelled by the client fourteen days or less prior to the event you will be charged one half of the total cost of the event.

Tastings:

A tasting may be schedule on selected menu items. For each tasting session their is a nominal charge of $50.00. Tastings are reserved for weddings and parties over 75 guests. The tastings are done in Christian’s Catering kitchen located at 45 Tolan St. Milan.  All fees are waived when you confirm your event date with a required deposit.

Pricing:

Prices listed reflect the cost of the food only.  Additional services, rentals, decorations and beverages are available at an additional charge.

Service Charge:

The Service Charge of 18% covers service, labor, planning, equipment used by service staff such as chafing dishes, serving utensils and coffee urns. This also will include set-up, clean-up of the event.

Gratuity:

The addition of a gratuity for service personnel is left to the clients discretion.

Delivery & Pick-Up:

Drop off and set up service is available for catering events. There is a $30. 00 delivery charge. Extensive set up may require additional hourly charges that will be added to the invoice . Full payment is required at the time of delivery.

Food Safety:

Consuming raw or uncooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness.

Leftovers:

Conditions and safety of leftover food will determine if any food will be released to the client at the end of the event by Christian’s Catering staff. Credits will not be issued for leftovers.

 

Alcoholic Beverages:

If Christian’s Catering handles the alcoholic beverages for the event the client agrees to irrevocably and unconditionally defend, indemnify and hold harmless Christian’s Catering, its employees and contractors jointly and individually, from any liability, claims demands, actions and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damages, illness, death or injury  sustained by any participant in connection with the service and consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Waiver of Liability:

The  clients agree to irrevocably and unconditionally defend, indemnify and hold harmless Christian’s Catering.,  from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damages, illness, death or injury sustained by any participant in connection with any food, services, personnel, beverages, rental items, props, entertainment, decorations or other items not directly provided by Christian’s Catering.
